After a lot of off field politics to do with the long awaited competition restructure, the draw for the 2022-2023 season has finally been published.

Following last season which provided some massive highs and lows and a disappointing mid table finish we say good bye to Atherstone, Birmingham & Solihull, Stone, St Leonards, Cannock, Bloxwich and Greyhound.

We remain playing at level 10 with Bishop's Castle & Onwy Valley, 5 Ways Od Edwardians, Keresley and Stourport-n-Severn from last season.

We will be joined in the League by Droitwich 2nd, Edwardian 2nd, Hereford 2nd, Malvern 2nd, Worcester 2nd and Trinity Guild to give an 11 team league with two byes in the season.

n the final reshuffle Kenilworth 2nds and Ledbury 2nds were removed from our league.

Craig Martin was elected Vice-chairman playing and he welcomes James Shotbolt back as Club Coach.

James is keen to get started and has introduced filming of every match to give feedback to the players as to how it looks from the touch line.

Aaron Atkinson takes over as first team skipper and he will be ably assisted by retiring skipper Matt Allen who has stayed on as vice-captain to give continuity.

Meanwhile Loran Abbots has stayed on as second team skipper and will be looking to assemble a squad to pressure the first team for places as well as getting regular rugby.

Summer Sevens training has already started.

Why not pop down? You know you want to!
