Redditch took the spoils after a hard fought match against close rivals Five Ways Old Edwardians on Saturday.
After a bright start where 11 points were scored early Five Ways upped their game and tackled like demons to take the eleven point difference into half time.
With penalties, slope and sun favouring the visitors Redditch were pinned in their own 22 for long periods and the pressure eventually told.
With an amazing dropped goal Five Ways were fighting hard.
As Redditch tried everything in defence they eventually fell foul of the referee and incurred two yellow cards.
Five Ways then exploited the overlap to score near the posts and the conversion kick brought the score to 11-10.
As time ran out Redditch eventually spread the ball wide for Joe Morgan to produce the try of the season so far, which was duly converted to deprive the visitors of a deserved bonus point.
See match report for more detail.
This week we travel to Warley who are lying just above Redditch on the table. Redditch will travel hoping to reverse the 2 point loss sufferred to Warley in the first half of the season.
Good luck boys.
