Redditch opened their account for 2023-2024 with a solid home win against Evesham 2's.

The score didn't reflect the amount of possession and territory enjoyed by the Redditch team, but does reflect the outstanding defence mounted by Evesham.

However as the game wore on Redditch were able to bring on some new beef off the bench and the score mounted to end 27-12 to the home side.

Good set pieces and some bullocking forward runs set the scene for the Redditch backs to be set free with 4 tries being scored by the back three.

Overall a good start.

Next week sees us away to Stourport.
