Redditch made the journey across to Droitwich having never taken the spoils since 2nd teams joined the leagues.

Pre match gossip had the home team suffering from multiple call ups to the first team, so the visiting supporters had their hopes raised.

Solid defence from Redditch was not enough to hold out the home side as they crossed for the first try of the match.

Redditch responded with some stirring forward drives eventually leading to MIkey Adams crossing to tie the scores at 5 each..

A further Droitwich try was converted to take the score to 12-5 at the break.

With the wind behind them James MIlls sniped from the lineout to take the score to 12-10.

Play was hard and fast and Droitwich discipline started to be stretched with Redditch receiving a string of penalties. From one of these Redditch tapped and ran with Man of the Match Craig Martin crossing for the winning score.

See match report for details.

Saturday sees us at home to Evesham 2nd with kick off at 3:0pm
