I am sad to report that another club stalwart of yesteryear has passed away in the last few days.

Paul Rickard was a proud Cornishman, who, despite being a footballer, took to Rugby in the way that only Cornishmen can.

He was a popular, regular for the Exiles team, where he relaxed away from the pressures of other activities.

Outside of Rugby, Paul was a PE Teacher at the County High Scholl and latterly Trinity.

Paul gave much of his time to the furtherance of schools sport and was Chairman of the School's Football Council. In this position he was able to bring great opportunities to the young footballers of Redditch.
