Redditch returned to winning ways with a well earned win over Level 6 Club Old Halesonian's third team.

With Redditch not having played for over a month this turned out to be the perfect fixture for new players to show their wares and the team to show off their new defensive skills.

Laurence Bush and Dave Roberts put in decent performances in their debut appearances and Sid Allen was a deserved Man of the Match.

With all the points scored in the first half Redditch turned into the wind and put in a mighty defensive shift to keep the visitors at bay.

We return to League action next weekend with Bishop's Castle and Onwy Valley the visitors to Bromsgrove Road.
