With lambing and other farming duties starting to make demands on his time, Tom Saddington, will be stepping back from his duties as head coach.

We thank Tom for his efforts so far this season,

However we are fortunate to have Stu Brooks to step in and take over.

Due to Stu's commitments our training night will be changing to Thursdays at 6:00pm.

Hopefully the change in coach to a more forward oriented coach will help to reverse some of our set piece struggles of the last few weeks.

We ask all currnet players and any who may have drifted away to give the boots a polish and pop down to training at 6:00pm on Thursday.

Stu comes with excellent coaching credentials and an impressive playing record.

Stu played on Saturday last when Redditch had a number of cry offs on Saturday morning and started the match against high flying Chaddesley Corbet with just 14 players.

With injuries to flying winger Harry Irvive and Stu himself we were reduced to 12 players. In fact one try was scored when we had just 11 on the pitch whilst running repairs were effected.

The final score of 12-34 in no way reflects the effort and commitment of the brave Redditch Warriors on the pitch.

Whilst scoring 2 tries themselves Redditch were able to keep the visitors scoreless for long periods of the game with an heroic defensive effort against superior numbers.

With the grit being shown in recent weeks we just need to get a full squad of 20 onto the pitch to see results improve.
