Redditch welcome Five Ways Old Edwardians to Bromsgrove Road this afternoon for the return fixture of the 2019-2020 season.

It could be said that Redditch's run of good form started after half time when we played over there. After a first half of missed opportunities and many mistakes, The Kingfishers tightened up their play to enjoy a good second half. I am pleased to say that many of the charachteristics shown in that second half have been retained. Redditch have had a good run of form since then and today find themselves in third place, just two behind our visitors.

Redditch will need to start strongly and maintain their concentration today if they wish to end the day in second position in the League.

The back line is virtually unchanged from last week with Connor Morris making way for Jonathan Beale on the wing. Will Spires and Tom Saddington will retain their partnership at 10/12 and will hope for some of the smotth interplay that they achieved last week against Dixonians.

With Dan Lanham missing through work commitments and Craig Martin suspended, Mike Allen returns to the 1st XV in the second row to join Chris Upton who retains his place.

With minimum change from last week, and strong replacements coming in, Redditch will aim to start where they left off last week and keep their climb up the table on track.

Meanwhile the seconds will welcome Claverdon 2nds as we host two games at home. The seconds have not had much rugby mainly due to the weather over the last few weeks, but put in a strong performance over at Stourbridge last Saturday. That performance has the team buzzing and they are looking forward to a good contest this afternoon.

Both matches kick off at 2:15pm
