On another rearranged fixture weekend Redditch met a strong Old Leamingtonians 2nd XV and found some players in the opposition who were too skilful and too quick.

Still suffering from injuries picked up from the Birmingham Exiles and Evesham matches Redditch fielded a weakened side, though the replacements of Craig Martin and Tom McLarney put in stirling efforts.

However with the visitors running up a 26 point lead before half time the latter stages of the match were going to be tough.

Once Redditch turned up just before half time, and Old Leams, made a couple of strategic replacements, the game evened up with 12 points apiece scored to take the final result to 12-38.

Redditch can be proud of the effort they put in especially in the second half,

Our next match is this Saturday at home to Old Halesonians with kick off back to 3:00pm
