Redditch welcomed Trinity Guild to Bromsgrove Road for the second home match of the season.
With a massive improvement in handling from the previous week Redditch had reduced the number of unforced errors although the lineout shown seems to have gone awry!
Redditch took an early lead and were never headed throughout the match. That said discipline was almost their undoing as High Tackles accounted for 15 of Trinity Guild's points with a penalty, a try from a tap kick and a penalty try all taken from Redditch High Tackles. An overall penalty count of 13-6 did not help Redditch at times during the match and allowed Trinity to get back into it.
Playing a man down for the last ten minutes Redditch had to dig deep as the visitors came within 8 points. A last gasp try to Redditch gave the score a lot more respectability with the home side running out winners by 44 to 29.
Trinity Guild were rewarded for their efforts by a try bonus point, which could easily have been two.
Next match is away to Droitwich 2nds with a 3:00pm kick off over at Droitwich.
Come along and support the boys.
