Bill Worth, the North MIdlands' Chair of Club Support & Development and Senior Vice President visited Redditch RFC on Saturday.
Bill was there to present a special Volunteer Recognition Award to Reddithc Vice President Emily Shotbolt for her ourstanding work in supporting Ash Mooney, the Redditch player who sufferred life changing injuries last season.
Emily liased with the RFU Injured Players Fund and set up and administered a fund raising page which helped Ash and his wife Vicki through the worst of their financial crisis.
Well done Emily.
Bill was joined at Redditch by North MIdlands' Chairman Malcolm Harris, who, as a Hereford man, took the opportunity of Saturday's match to watch his team and visit Redditch.
Sadly the result went the way of the visitors whilst the home team look forward to a break in their league programme.
