Dave's funeral service will be on:

Thursday 23rd December 2021 at 1.15pm at Redditch Crematorium, followed by a reception / wake at the Kings Court Hotel, King's Coughton, Alcester B49 5QQ.

 Family flowers only. Donations to the Stroke Ward at the Evesham Community Hospital, who looked after David during the last 3 months of his life.

Alternatively, there will be a collection box at the crematorium for donations if you do not want to donate electronically.

 Meanwhile, the family would like to get an idea of numbers to cater for at the Reception / Wake and have asked me to collect these details. Therefore if you can ask any Redditch Rugby Club members / old players who intend to join us at the reception / wake, to please let me know via email or text. Please also pass these details onto anyone else you know who may be wish to attend.

 The family would like all old players to attend the funeral in their smart Rugby attire (Blazer, club shirt etc). If possible please wear a pink carnation as this was Dave's favourite flower.

We are sad to report that Dave Pellett passed away this morning after a long illness.

Dave was an uncompromising forward who played many games for the 3rds and Exiles in the Eighties and Nineties.

He was an enthusiastic tourist with a host of stories and jokes to tell.

The thoughts of all club members are with Dave's wife Liz and daughter Lizette.
