This weekend will make or break the dreams and aspirations of England and Wales.
Is an all British final on the cards for the first time ever?
Dare we hope? We will soon know!
9:00 am Saturday and Sunday will see our home teams take on 3 times winner New Zealand and the twice victorious South Africa.
Wales have played 5 and won 5 disposing of Australia in a thriller during the pool stages where they proved they have the stamina and purpose to win the big games. To prove it was no fluke they edged out France by a single point in the quarter finals.
By contrast South Africa were beaten by New Zealand in the pools, but have had easy matches other than that.
Both England and New Zealand have played one less game than the other two and have had relatively easy passage to the semis so should be fit and fired up for Saturday. The winner will take that playing advantage into the final.
Darren will have the kitchen open for the bacon sarnies.
And later the Kingfishers travel to Keresley in the League whilst the Exiles head to Camp Hill to revive a traditional fixture for the Men in Pink.
