Redditch travelled down to Malvern with high hopes after high fliers Malvern II had lost the previous week to basement boys Five Ways Old Edwardians.

However it was not to be as the home side bounced back with a convincing win to show why they look like earning promotion this season.

That was not to say that Redditch were not competitive for long periods, but they could not match the cutting edge of the Malvern backs.

Tyler Monger, on his first 1st team start, took out a well deserved man of the match award.

And it won't be any easier next week as we travel down to Upton on Severn for a much postponed game, weather permitting.
