Redditch finished ther League Season in fine style with a convincing win over the visitors Bishop's Castle and Onwy Valley. (see match report for details).
On the second team pitch a big crowd turned out to see a Redditch Social side take on a stong Stourbridge Grasshoppers side.
With several sets of father and son, including Hemming, Bush and McLarney, playing the crowd was swelled by wives, mothers and girlfriends coming out to see them play.
Running up the hill, Redditch held out well for about 20 minutes when the tide eventually turned and the young visiting side made the most of their innate speed and numerous reserves to run out comfortable winners.
Back to the clubhouse for the Ireland v England match folowed up by a St Patricks night disco into the wee small hours.
With the league programme over our next outing will be on April 1st to meet Bredon Star in the Vase, followed up on 1th April when we host Pershore. Reslults in these two matches will determine whether 15th April is our last match.
