Redditch slipped to another defeat to Keresley on Saturday.

The final score of 17-34 did not reflect the closeness or toughness of the match but that is not good enough. Redditch led at half time and were competetive up until midwway through the second half when the Keresley backs  were given a little more room and started to hold onto the ball scoring a run of tries.

Most teams in the league will not relish playing Redditch as for most of the game there have been hard fought exchanges, Indeed Redditch have led on most occasions and have not stopped trying to the final whistle.

However the run of results has seen the Kingfishers sliding down the table,

On a brighter note Club President Steve (Skippy) Hindson was presented with the Long Serving Volunteer award as part of the North Midlands RFU Volunteer Recognition Program for 2022-2023.

The award was presented by NM President Bill Worth who enjoyed an afternoon at the club.
