Redditch scored 7 tries in this away win at Kidderminster. After a first half where they threatened but were not fully rewarded, they cut loose after the break and ran out comfortable winners. Joe Morgan opened their account benefitting from and scything run from centre Michael O 'Donnell. This was followed up with an attacking drive which Jack Mertens rounded off with a score, Archie Beddard converting both for a 0-14 lead and looking comfortable.

However K were not going to lay down just yet, Their left winger found space to score out wide then just before the break when R were down to 14 men K found some space and bundled their way over the line, this one was converted. A penalty kick attempt hit the wrong side of the post on the str4oke of half time which would have given a false impression of the flow of the first half.
The second half was a different story, using both their speed and their pack R rocked the home side with 5 unanswered tries. Clarke Parker scored the first of them running a lot further than he would have liked to score in the corner . The pack combined perfectly from a line out catch and drive allowing Tom Dickens to round the move off. It worked so well that the process was repeated shortly after this time Richie Beddard finished it off.
With their tails up and confidence growing R were able to take the odd risk, which was on show with skipper Will Spires' delicate chip kick into space which Mertens collected sweetly, ran 50m beating two opposition before feeding A Beddard who dotted down under the posts, which he converted along with two other second half kicks.
Parker rounded off the scoring with his second combining sweetly with Joe Morgan. K had their moments and threatened to spoil the second half party but the R defensive line held firm and despite ending the game a man down they kept a clean second half sheet.
As well as scoring two tries Clarke Parker was outstanding in the lineout.
Player of the match was shared between Michael O'Donnell who did everything but score on an impressive debut, and Clarke Parker who ran himself into the ground in defence and attack and scored 2 tries, but could have had more!
