Old Halesonians RFC
The injury list in key positions is taking its toll on a R side who are still full of running and attacking ideas but lacking in coordination in defensive coordination and leaked a hatful of tries in this fixture against a mid table opposition who were just that little bit sharper when it mattered.
The lack of experience in not playing or training as as a squad was evident from the start when gaps were capitalised upon by OH. two early tries set the tone though R were for a while back in the hunt when Jon Beale made a fine break to release Aaron Atkinson who scored in the corner. But the response was never going to be enough to prevent the visitors from retaking the initiative and running in 4 more first half tries, most from a distance.
R tightened up in the second half and much of the game was played out in the mid field, and they did well to restrict their guests to two scores.  There were many positives to be seen, Nathan Marthews showed what has been missing in his absence for most of the season. with punishing charges. Tyler Monger fearless in his tackling. Jon Beale and Cal Razzak linking nicely in the centre and the many occasional players drafted in giving their all in the face of adversity.
This Sat they travel to Kidderminster II
Players take a tumble s Sean Madden takes over
