Despite putting in their best ever performance against Malvern 2nd, Redditch were unable to capture that elusive win.
A penalty try not awarded, a chip ahead that cruelly bounced out to elude Stu Brookes with the line wide open, a dropped kick off which gifted the visitors a try had they not happenned could have seen the score at 29-20 to the home side instead of 15-27 to the visitors
That said Redditch made several unforced errors, dropping the ball at key moments, and the young, fast Malvern team were quick to capitalise on any Redditch mistakes, whereas Redditch were slow to punish Malvern's mistakes.
Harry Rutter took our Man of the Match award with some solid defence and some strong running with the ball.
It was good to see the return of TK after a long absence and the continued good form of Loran Abbotts and Stu Brooks, who both scored tries, after their return from Pershore.
See the match report for further details.
Next week sees us travel to Chaddesley Corbett with kick off at 3:00pm.
