In a hard fought, bruising encounter Redditch gave their all against promotion chasing Chaddesley Corbett.
In challenging conditions Chaddesley threw the ball around like the French and a first minute try set an ominous warning for the rest of the game.
However Redditch settled down and spent long periods of the match in dominant positions.
But the advantage of superior numbers eventually told and Redditch, who had started the match with just 14 players, sufferred two further injuries to drop to 12 players. Even so, Chaddesley with 15 and a full bench, had to fight hard for the 5 points which takes them to second in the table just 2 points adrift of King's Norton.
Whilst the result was not what we wanted the atmosphere in the bar after showed the pride in this team after an heroic performance.
See match report for further details.
Next week we welcome Stourbridge 3rds to Bromsgrove Road wit the kick off at 2:15pm
